Your inspirations
Remember what gave you an idea.
You save a TikTok because you like its opening. A week later, you cannot remember what you meant to do with it. Yvila keeps the link together with your thought.
How to save a TikTok inspiration.
For automatic TikTok favourites import, connect an eligible account and grant access directly on TikTok. Import is available to eligible accounts in the EEA and UK and can take time.
- Copy the link of a TikTok that gave you an idea. Open “Save TikTok” in Yvila and paste the link.
- Under “What I like about it”, choose a tag such as “Hook”, “Editing” or “Topic”. Choose “Save as inspiration”.
- Open the saved inspiration and choose “Add note”. Under “My idea for this”, write down what you want to take from it. Choose “Save note”.
- Set its “Idea status” to suit your next step, such as “Idea pending”, “Planned” or, later, “Created”.
- Find it again using a word from your note, the caption or the creator. Tags, collections and status help narrow your selection.
Example: An idea for your next travel post.
Suppose you save a TikTok that opens with a common mistake. You want to try that structure for a topic of your own. This example is fictional.
“I like the direct opening. For my next train trip: start with the packing mistake, then show what I do differently.”
- Choose the “Hook” tag and save the thought as a note. Keep the reason you saved the link alongside it.
- Set the idea to “Planned” when you want to work on it next. Searching for “packing mistake” can bring you back to the note later.
- Search your own archive for “packing” or “train trip”. You may already have shared the relevant experience and have something to add today.
What Yvila can connect to your own archive.
On Creator, you can choose “Recognise text” on a saved TikTok inspiration. Yvila also checks whether videos in your own archive relate to it.
When it finds a useful connection, you see one of your own videos and a short explanation. Open it and check whether the relationship helps your idea. A connection gives you a starting point, rather than a finished new post.
Some inspirations will have no match. Not every saved TikTok is automatically analysed in full. You choose which inspirations to run text recognition on.
When your collection grows.
A note like “watch later” gives you little to work with. Write down what you want to try instead: an opening, a question or an editing sequence. Search can help you find that thought again.
Use idea status to separate what is still open from what you have already done. Collections keep links for a shared topic or project together. Not every saved inspiration has to become your next task.
Questions about this
Is every saved inspiration automatically analysed?
No. Creator stores unlimited inspirations. Text recognition you start yourself is limited to 25 saved TikToks per month. A saved link alone does not mean the full video content has already been recognised.
What can I try with Free?
Free has five inspiration spaces in total and five of your own videos with searchable text. You can try notes and organising your ideas. Extended archive connections are part of Creator.
Why can search miss a visual detail?
Search uses available captions, notes and recognised text. A purely visual detail with no matching words may be missing. Add a note about it to give yourself something to search for later.
